I can name you the day my life was changed. It was July 15, 1995; and I made the most important, life-changing decision of my life next to turning from a life away from God into His marvelous and unexplainable grace. You see, nothing compares to salvation; it is just that God did most (“all” for all of you Calvinists out there) of the work for that. I had to accept the death of Jesus for me and give away my rights to God, so that’s the part I played. (Just to clarify, I’m not a Calvinist)
That, however, dealt with the spiritual that now speaks to the physical. On July 15, 1995, I made the most important physical decision ever. It was on that day that my life turned. It was on that day that I said, “I do.” to Holly Marie Eastman.
I love her, and I would do anything in the world for her. I know that you can accomplish a lot on your own, and a spouse should only “compliment” your abilities and weaknesses. However, Holly does more than that… she completes me.
We celebrate 13 years today. We have three beautiful boys as a result of those years. I haven’t given her everything she has ever wanted, but I am still spending every moment trying.
Man, I love her!
Aww! That is SO, so sweet! Happy anniversary!
I am, perhaps, the sweetest man alive.
